Weekend in Denmark {October Back Post}

The kids had a couple days off of school so that means TRAVEL! Copenhagen has been a city on my list of places to see and Denmark has the first LEGOLAND. Knowing how much our kids despise sightseeing I figured it could be a win, win.....sightseeing and something fun for them. It was much cheaper to fly into Billund (where Legoland is) so that is what we did. Copenhagen was a 3 hour drive (one way) from Billund so it would have to be an all day thing. After watching the weather, we decided to cut Copenhagen out of our plans. :( It rained mostly the entire time we were there. We found some fun indoor things to do though and enjoyed Legoland on our nicest day.

Legoland

Allie LOVED this disgusting pizza! (hot dogs and french fries!)

I guess, in a way, we did  make it to Copenhagen! ;)

The flags on the front of the cars represent their country. They were the only Americans.

The other place we went to was called Llandia. It was this huge indoor place that had ice skating, skiing, tubing, bungee jumps, mini golf, arcade, indoor water park.....and so on. One day we did the ice skating and the tubing....

Then the other day we went to the water park. Didn't take many pictures because we were having too much fun! This place had a slide that started inside and went outside (in the open) and it was like a raging rapids. It was so fun!! But, I think we definitely caught colds from going in and out of the cold like that.
