Last weekend was such a great weekend. The kids didn't have school on Friday making it a 3 day weekend. I think every weekend should be a 3 day weekend! It was perfect. Family fun on Friday, housework on Saturday, and church and relaxing on Sunday.
We went to a place called BeWILDerwood on Friday. We pretty much had it to ourselves. I think they said they had about 100 visitors total that day and they usually average 2400 on the weekends! It's an adventure park, based on a book series, with lots of tree houses and high climbing structures. Such a fun day!
Our little performer. She volunteered to participate in the storytelling time!
Derek's intramural soccer tournament has been going on the past couple of weeks. I love that the kids enjoy watching/playing soccer as much as we do! They still aren't to the point where they can sit still through an entire game but I don't blame them......they are kinda long. When they get tired of watching it, it's usually because they want to get up and play too! After BeWILDerwood, we went right to Derek's game. They lost but it was a really good game.
snapped this adorable pic of Avery while at the game. Super cute, even when she's a hot mess!
After getting lots of yard word done Saturday, the girls and I went on a Mommy - Daughter date. We went and saw Dolphin Tale 2.
Avery may have been more excited for the popcorn....as evidenced by the crumbs on her nose. :)
The weekend ended with wonderful messages at church, that I felt were just for me, and a nice relaxing evening at home.

FROM THE MOUTHS OF BABES
"I heard them say kiss, so I covered Blake's ears." ~ Avery
Avery: "Am I beautiful?"
Me: "Yes, why are you asking me that!?"Avery: "Well, I was just looking at myself in the mirror at school today and thought I looked beautiful."
Allie (shaking her head): "She has the mindset of Glinda (Wicked)"
We still have hope for one of our children to pick up a British accent. Blake refers to our backyard as the garden 100% of the time! When he wants to play outside, he wants to play "in the garden".

Video of my handsome boy. Ignore my horrible voice...just pay attention to Blake. :)
Found a few more pics!!
For about the entire month this little cutie has been stopping by the house every day. The kids love her! They are going to be so sad when she decides to stop visiting.
They were so upset that we were having Mexican night for dinner. They devoured the tacos and wouldn't share the salsa with me!
