We arrived early afternoon before we could check in so we headed straight for the beach. It just so happened to be on the windier side of the island, a beach down the road from where all of the kite surfers go. We quickly found out why there were built in wind shelters all over the beach as we were getting pelted like crazy!
The next two gorgeous days were spent at Siam Park
Blake's teacher told him to be sure to watch people slide down this slide.....sometimes they might lose their swimsuits! So, naturally they had to watch.

And guess what?! Blake was chosen to be in the dolphin show!!! Of course, he said no though. Ugh!
We decided to sit in the splash zone this time during the Orca show. Bad.idea.
Since we were on that side of the island we decided to see if we could do some stargazing way up high on Mount Teide. We hadn't realized we were on the verge of a super moon, so there was a lot of light coming from the moon. However, the sunset was beautiful.
Monkey Park
Allie lost her tooth right before we got to the park!
Yes, there were monkeys.
We went to all of our favorite dinner spots too. The waitress at Hard Rock remembered us!! Names and everything!
Our favorite Mexican restaurant....Blake fell asleep at the table. The manager came over with another chair, picked Blake up, put the two chairs together and laid him back down and then went and got a blanket to cover him up with!
The girls were dying to go back to this Italian place to get their "zebra" pizzas!
