Then we went a little out of our way to meet up with my Mom & Dad's friends in Gruene and ate at one of our favorite Restaurants, The Gristmill Inn.

After we ate we stopped by the famous Gruene Hall. A lot of big time country stars perform here. Garth Brooks is actually going to be there sometime this fall. The movie "Michael" with John Travolta was also filmed here.

American girl has come along way since we had them!! Looks like a lot of fun!
They did.......and yes, the American Girl store has it's own restaurant w/ highchairs for the dolls, a hair salon where you pay $10-$20 to get your doll's hair fixed. Cute, but so expensive. Good thing I still had my dolls to pass onto the girls. One doll is $105, an outfit is $38!
My good friend was telling me about this...praying Hannah doesn't want a doll haha
