Mony & Papa Visit: Part II

To start off -- Avery showing off her goodies from Dave & Busters (minus the candy, which she devoured right away)
She's been wanting a watch ever since Allie got one for her b-day. I think she feels like a big girl when she's wearing it.
The many faces of Blake:
Allie made a Book Box for school

Go, Kuentz, Go!
While Allie was at school we took Avery to MiniTown
She shopped for groceries
Even did the self checkout
Danced at the Disco
Taught us how to draw circles

Then it was off to the salon
Mony's turn
Then it was off to the movie theater
After school we decided to go to the Kiddie Park
Blake and I just chilled in the shade

Oh, and on Thursday Mony & Papa went and had lunch with Allie at school

Mony & Papa Vist: Part I

GG, this post is for you!

Mony and Papa arrived late Sunday night. We're all so excited to have them here and introduce them to Blake. Allie is loving having more visitors walk her to and from the bus stop. Avery is loving all of the extra attention she gets during the day while Allie is at school. It seems like we've been on the go a lot but we've hardly taken any pictures. So here is what we have thus far:
After Allie got out of school on Tuesday Mony & Papa took the girls up to the pool for some afternoon swimming fun.....
Trying to get a picture of what his outfit says, "I Love HUGS from Grandma"
Other fun things not pictured:
- We took Avery to story/craft time at Barnes & Noble.
- Last night we went to Dave and Buster's.

Randomness

Last night I heard Blake laugh out loud while he was sleeping.......sooooo cute!! This boy also smiles a LOT. And he has these cute little dimples when he smiles. He loves to be cuddled but he also doesn't mind just hanging out on his own. He is such a good little boy. He is still sleeping most of the day. There was one night when he slept for about 6 hours straight but the rest of the nights he's been up every 3-4 hours. Getting better so I can't complain.
With Derek having the past 2 weeks off, we've slowly been able to get a few things done around the house. Mostly, though, we've just enjoyed our beautiful blessings and tried to catch up on sleep. Blake's room is pretty much done now.

Derek has also been really good about making sure the girls get the attention they need right now. The day after we got home from the hospital he took the girls to MiniTown for a birthday party.

On Labor Day he even took the girls to Sea World to take advantage of the water park one last time.

The day before the c-section Derek's co-workers had a baby shower for us. We were overwhelmed by their generosity! I barely know a few of the people he works with and the rest I don't know at all. I guess that just goes to show what a good man my husband is by being so well liked by his co-workers. I was finally able to meet Gen. & Mrs Otto for the first time. It's nice to be able to put a face with a name I hear all of the time. Since Derek works in a secure building we couldn't take any pictures, but I took a picture of all of the cute bags when we got home.

Blake went back to the hospital Friday for his PKU blood test. They got him good because he was still bleeding like crazy from his heel a couple hours later. Poor little guy! Derek said he just whimpered when they did it though. He also broke out in a rash that night........it was gone by the following night. Not sure what it was -- maybe just a heat rash??

Grandma Huber is here visiting right now. Everyone is so excited to see her!
Me before heading to the hospital to meet Blake.
